Josh serves as Pacifica Senior Housing’s senior advisor of asset management. With his management staff, he supports acquisition, design and development as well as providing operational oversight for senior housing projects. Josh has direct line experience as a marketing director and executive director for national senior housing operators, including Atria Senior Living (now owned by Ventas). He also worked as a private asset management consultant, tasked with distressed property turnarounds. In 2012, Josh assumed responsibility for a 230-bed facility on the brink of bankruptcy, managing operational restructuring and leading the organization through HUD refinancing and a successful sale in 2014.
Josh is a principal in his own San Diego-based management and consulting company, Cornerstone Senior Living; in addition, he is involved in a San Francisco-based technology startup within the senior housing space. Josh holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico.
