Scott Phillips has more than 25 years of experience in real estate finance. During his career, Scott has arranged debt and equity and sourced acquisitions for more than $3 billion of completed transactions, as both an intermediary and a principal. His transactions reflect many real estate asset classes, although he focuses primarily on hotels, mixed use and senior housing.

Scott began his career as an analyst at Bear Stearns in Los Angeles. He then became a vice president at New York-based real estate investment banking firm Sonnenblick Goldman.

Subsequently, Scott worked for a family owned investment company, and then formed Pacifica Capital, a boutique real estate investment banking firm and a sister company to Pacifica Senior Housing. He continues to be a principal in Pacifica Capital and in Phillips Development Group, both based in Los Angeles. Scott is also a principal in two equity funds formed by Senior Living Fund, a Kansas-based private equity fund that invests in senior housing. He serves as head of their capital markets group, providing debt for their partner owners and operators.
